Our Self-Understanding

We see ourselves as an extension of our clients' compliance, legal and security functions. Our investigators bring relevant experience from diverse fields of deployment — some with a background in law enforcement or intelligence services — and are further qualified through the Central Training Body for the Detective Profession (ZAD), an organ of the Stiftung Gesellschaft und Recht. This is complemented by a network of recognised experts in forensics, IT security and related fields. Our in-house technical department advises on electronic surveillance, evidence securing, and countermeasures against unauthorised surveillance.

Our Approach

Every matter is analysed individually. Based on the information provided at the outset, we develop a structured investigation plan that transparently sets out the approach, realistic prospects of success, cost framework and possible legal and factual risks. We reject standardised procedures that disregard the specifics of a case — they meet neither the complexity of modern matters nor the requirements of robust evidence-gathering.

Confidentiality and Responsibility

Clients who approach us place considerable trust in us. We meet this responsibility with discretion, professional distance, and a documentation practice designed for evidentiary use in court. For the duration of an engagement, every client has a fixed point of contact; our on-call service is reachable around the clock.

Area of Operation

Interdetekt operates as a matter of course throughout Germany and in neighbouring countries. Through our membership of the World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.), we are also connected to a worldwide network of experienced partner agencies. This network allows us to conduct investigations outside Germany with investigators on the ground who know the relevant local legal framework and local circumstances from their own practice — a prerequisite for ensuring that evidence gathered abroad remains lawfully usable later on. Interdetekt acts as an interface in this context: we coordinate cross-regional and international engagements centrally from Germany, direct the partner agencies involved, and ensure that approach, documentation and communication remain consistent and traceable across every jurisdiction involved.
